I had this app as a freebie for quite a while, then went pro. It's a great way to listen to your local public service without spending the $800 or $900 for a trucking scanner, not to mention the complex programming. The notifications are pretty nice as you can see what the event is. I've gone in and listened to some major things, then Google the news to see it happening in real time. One was a huge fire in New Jersey, which I would have never known about until the next day's news.

I unknowingly listened to the Las Vegas country music festival massacre live on Scanner Radio Pro. I'll never forget the cop screaming in sheer panic & a dispatcher telling them to get a grip. This is the best public service app and is worth 10xs the Pro version cost.

Garbage. Same as free app. Can't hear anything different from its free counterpart. Would like a refund if possible. If not, I get it. You got me. But if you're halfway decent human beings, you'll let me have my hard-earned money back.

My review for this app was great, until I was hanging out on their Discord where people were talking about active shootings that were going on because everyone was interested in them, however saying a single curse word was labeled as offensive and inappropriate and resulted in a warning. We are literally talking about incidences going on regarding shooting or other violent crimes, yet a person lets a single curse word through a text chat and the whole moderation team freaks out?
